STUCK IN MY PC

Recently, I have been watching Korean movies and series. I already watched several of them. I would like to make my own reviews about it; but, I am still not on a mood to do so.

I just started watching Love Rain and Full House Take 2.

I loved the Full House series back in 2004. I am quite intrigued of the sequel. The story line is the same. It is all about a person who make sacrifices just to get back his/her full house which holds her childhood memories.

I don't think I will be finishing these two series anytime soon. I am just watching them online anyways. I am beginning to get bored with the later series; because, themes are similar to those that I had watched before. Or maybe because I do not like the actors/actresses that much. It was a good series though.

For Love Rain, I really like the main actor, Jang Geun Suk. I really like him since I have watched Marry Me, Marry and He's Beautiful.

Story is from the writer of Endless Love: Autumn in my Heart and Winter Sonata; so, expect the same plot of story. It is great indeed and touches one's heart. I think most of us will relate to the story about two friends who fell in love with the same girl.

I am looking forward to get a copy of this in DVD. Videos online are not complete. Sigh!

Boracay, Philippines

It was my first out of town with my hubby. It was also my first time to board an airplane. Of course I was excited, who wouldn't be?

This vacation happened last March 5-9, 2012. The trip was actually a secret. No one knew at first that we are planning to take it. My contract just ended in the hospital and as a reward, we planned this 5D-4N vacation to Boracay.

I did not upload it yet to my Facebook account, even until now. But now, I would like to share the experiences I had with my trips.

Overall experience was superb. I cannot think of any unpleasant events during our whole trip except for the delayed in flight going back, which I did not mind. We are four in a group and two other friends followed on the 6th of March.

We were really tight on budget; so, we would like to save from airline, hotel and tours. This was not a problem since there are many options that were in line for you.

Tips:
1.Best experience is to fly to and from Caticlan airport. Travel time to and from Kalibo takes 1 and 1/2 hours. If you chose this route, make sure you booked for early flights.

 2. You have so many options for accommodation.  Best if you choose beachfront hotels; since, all activities are along this 4-km White beach.

3. For tours, there are so many locals that is offering tour packages. You can haggle with them and choose the most affordable offer. All you need is to walk along the beach.

There are so many activities to choose from if you just want to try something different. The best thing to do is still to swim, relax and just lay down on sand. This is the best beach that I had seen so far. Everything seems to stop and you don't want to leave. I will definitely come back for more!

Planning your vacation

Everyone wants to take a vacation. After exhausting yourself from work, you are craving for a wonderful trip that will just free you from the stress of the city. Top choice, of course, is Boracay!

I remembered back then when we are planning our destination, we were choosing between Bohol or Boracay. One of our doctors told us that if you are wanting a romantic escapade, go with Bohol. If you are going with friends and wants an adventure, go with Boracay. Since we are going as barkada, we opted to choose Boracay.

Next step is to avail promo airline tickets. There are several airlines that you can choose from, Cebu Pacific, AirPhil Express, Zest Air and etc. They do offer promotions from time to time; so, you should always check their websites and even subscribed to their mailing list. Remember, the earlier you book, the lower the price is.

Tip: Cebu Pacific offers more affordable rates from Manila to Caticlan. The return route is expensive; so, you can choose Kalibo to Manila instead.

After your flight is confirmed, you can check out hotel rates that suits your budget. There are so many hotels in Boracay that you can even choose your hotel once you get there. But of course, to save you time and effort, you can contact them directly or avail them through some promo websites.

All is set, you just need to wait for your scheduled flight and pack the things that you will need. Just comfortable clothes, toiletries, camera and pocket money is enough.  You should always pack light. Remember, there are a lots of stores on your destination if in case you really need something.

Horoscopes

I am not really a fun of horoscopes or any astrological reading. But, when it was offered the subscription to me back then for free, I grabbed the offer. I am just curious of what it says and if it will really match the mood I have for that day.

Time to time, I check my e-mail for news about sale and important communication. When I feel like reading my horoscope, I made time to just sit and think of its relation to what is happening in my life. I was quite surprised every time; because, they actually matched. Not sure if it was really that general in content. I mean if it was applicable for all people not just for me. Anyways, I opened my reading for yesterday and this is the actual content of the message.

"Your great energy is manifesting itself in financial ways today -- so jump on that screaming deal or say yes to that new money-making opportunity! You should feel a lot better about money soon.*"

It was a positive reading and yes, it was applicable to general audience. But, one thing that made difference is the e-mail that I had received before opening this one. When I almost gave up my hopes for getting a refund from a cancelled flight, a good news came up saying that I can still request for it. Yehey! This is the best feeling that I had since September.

I can't help but agree to the reading. I am now feeling a lot better about money now. :)

Macrophotographs

        Beautiful Creatures...

Macro photography  is extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life size.

Mostly, models for such type of photograph sessions are insects, like butterflies, caterpillar,  bees, and etc. It takes a lot of patience and time for you to wait for the perfect shot to capture their best angle.

In addition, you should have a wide imagination to visualize the end result that you would like to see.

Right equipment, timing and lighting is the key to capture your piece.

These were actual photos by our featured photographer.

Creativity is really just around the corner.

 Like them now!:)

All you need is just a little inspiration.

How amazing one sees beauty in certain things that for others are worthless.

Blessed with a Talent

Everyone has their own camera, stealing and storing each precious moments in their life in a small disk. It is fascinating to look at simple things that become amazing behind one's imagination.

I know some people whose every shot in their camera are blurry. They actually spoil your memories because they can't produce even good pictures.  There are also some who shots really good, that every picture they produce has an art or style.

My father-in-law is actually one of them. He even won several awards because of his talent. I am so inspired by the pictures he took that I want to share them with you. :)
